FAQ

1. What makes your Everest and Himalayan journeys truly luxurious?

We offer private helicopter transfers, 5★ hotels in Kathmandu, premium trekking lodges or luxury tents, gourmet meals, personal Sherpas, expert guides, and full end-to-end support — blending adventure with absolute comfort.

2. Is prior trekking or climbing experience necessary?

Not for our luxury treks like Everest Base Camp. A good fitness level is enough.

3. Can the itinerary be customized to my preferences?

Yes — everything is tailor-made. You can adjust pace, route, add helicopter-only sections, cultural extensions, wellness experiences, or add-ons.

4. How long does a luxury Everest Base Camp trek take?

Typically 12–16 days. Most guests choose to trek one way and return by helicopter, combining comfort with proper acclimatization.

5. Are porters and Sherpa staff provided?

Yes. Each guest has access to professional porters (up to 12–15 kg) and a seasoned Sherpa support team to ensure safe, seamless, and responsible travel.

6. Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. You’ll need comprehensive international insurance covering high-altitude trekking (min. 6,000 m), medical evacuation, trip delays, and personal belongings. We’re happy to assist with recommendations.

7. Do you handle permits and documentation?

Yes. We take care of all permits — including national park fees, TIMS cards, local government clearances, and any climbing or restricted area documentation.

8. Is there Wi-Fi or phone signal during the trek?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available at most premium lodges from Lukla to Everest Base Camp, often solar-powered. Ncell and NTC networks offer intermittent signal along the way.

9. What kind of gear or packing support do you offer?

We provide a detailed packing list to help you prepare effectively for your trek. While we do not supply trekking gear, our experienced porters will carry your main load so you can trek light and comfortably. You’ll also be accompanied by knowledgeable local guides to ensure a safe and enriching journey.
